Announcement: JKW's participation in the Electronic Health Records Demonstration

At our practice, we have a few policies we ask our patients to observe. Also see the links on the side for local specialists and insurance companies with which we participate.

  • While payment is expected at the time of service, we offer payment plans and reduced fees for those in financial need. We also accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover card for payments.
  • We want to be available to talk to you at the time that you call, without having to return your initial phone call. If you want to talk with a physician or provider, and he is with a patient, we will ask you to hold until he is done with that patient visit. If you cannot hold, you may leave a message for the physician or provider to call you back. Our goal is to return our calls by 1:30 pm for morning calls and by 6:00 pm for afternoon calls.
  • Many insurance companies require referrals to authorize services performed by specialists and/or facilities. When a referral is required, or if you are unsure if you need one, please contact the referral coordinator at our office. The normal processing time for referral requests is 48 hours. We will grant referrals after you have scheduled your appointment with the specialist/facility. You can download this referral request (it's a PDF file) and fill it out at your convenience.
  • Dr. Weidner is on-call after-hours during the week, and he or another physician is on-call during weekends and holidays for urgent medical concerns. Call the office number [(410) 658-6696] if you need to talk with a physician.
Please use the Google Calendar below to check for office closings. We are closed on most major holidays.
